CodeCircle.org introduces CourseCraftor AI and TutorBot AI — free tools enabling any educator to build courses in minutes and every student to have a 24/7 personal coding tutor.

California, USA — February 2026

CALIFORNIA — CodeCircle.org, the free coding education nonprofit under VGURU Foundation, today announced the full public availability of its AI-powered learning platform — featuring CourseCraftor AI for instructors and TutorBot AI for students. The platform is entirely free, requires no prior coding experience, and is designed to reach children who have historically been excluded from technology education due to geography, income, or language barriers.

The launch marks a pivotal milestone in the organization's journey from a home-based learning center in 2021 to a globally accessible online platform with a full Learning Management System (LMS), AI-generated curriculum tools, and a growing library of self-paced coding courses spanning Python, Data Science, AI, and web development.

“Talent is everywhere, but opportunity isn't. I started CodeCircle.org so that every child — regardless of where they were born or what their family earns — can access the same quality of coding education I had to fight to find.”

— Satya Dillikar, Founder & Director, CodeCircle.org

The platform's two flagship AI tools address the most persistent barriers in coding education. CourseCraftor AI allows instructors to generate structured, classroom-ready courses from a single idea prompt — reducing course creation time from weeks to minutes. TutorBot AI provides students with a 24/7 personalized tutor that explains concepts, answers questions, and adapts to each learner's pace.

“CodeCircle.org has transformed our classroom,” said Mrs. Santos, a 5th Grade Teacher at Lincoln Elementary. “Students who were disengaged are now the first to participate, proudly showing off their coding projects. The curriculum is accessible for beginners but challenging enough to keep advanced students engaged.”

For Instructors
CourseCraftor AI

Generate complete, structured courses from a single idea prompt — in minutes, not weeks.

  • Lesson plans & curriculum
  • Student progress tracking
  • Classroom-ready resources
  • 100% free for educators
For Students
TutorBot AI

A 24/7 personal coding tutor that explains concepts — not just answers — adapting to each learner.

  • Available anytime, anywhere
  • Concept-first explanations
  • Self-paced, gamified lessons
  • Free for all students

What Makes CodeCircle.org Different

  • 100% Free — no paywalls, subscriptions, or premium tiers for students or educators
  • AI-Powered — CourseCraftor AI and TutorBot AI built specifically for coding education
  • Educator-First — lesson plans, tracking tools, and classroom resources included
  • Accessible Anywhere — self-paced, online, works on computers and tablets
  • Human Story — founded by an IIT Madras gold medalist who grew up without access to coding resources

Student outcomes on the platform have been compelling. A 4th-grade student built a Python calculator app and gained the confidence to present in class. A 7th-grader developed a working weather prediction tool and took second place at a local hackathon. A 10th-grade student's AI-powered emotional support chatbot won a youth innovation challenge and earned her a summer tech internship. An undergraduate developed a crop disease detection model that earned him a global data science internship.

CodeCircle.org is part of VGURU Foundation, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 33-3624722). The organization accepts donations and welcomes partnerships with schools, districts, and corporate sponsors aligned with its mission to democratize technology education.

Founder's Story

From Overnight Study Sessions in a Locked Lab to IIT Gold Medalist

SD

Satya Dillikar

Founder & Director, CodeCircle.org

Satya grew up in India in the 1990s passing by programming institutes he could not afford. He negotiated his way into a computer lab — 30 to 45 minutes per day in exchange for admin work — and convinced the owner to let him stay overnight in the locked lab, teaching himself Pascal, COBOL, and C while skipping dinner.

That determination led to a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering (Gold Medalist) and a Master's degree from IIT Madras. Today, he channels that journey into CodeCircle.org — the platform he wishes had existed when he was 16.

“On those nights, I often skipped dinner or ate a couple of bananas. But none of that mattered, because I was finally learning.”

Key Messages for Media

1

The Digital Divide Is a Crisis — and It Has a Solution

Millions of children worldwide grow up without access to coding education due to cost, geography, and a lack of trained instructors. CodeCircle.org directly addresses all three barriers with a free, AI-powered platform that works on any device, anywhere in the world.

2

This Is What AI for Good Looks Like

CodeCircle.org demonstrates a clear, positive use case for AI in education: technology that empowers educators to do more and students to learn deeper. CourseCraftor AI and TutorBot AI are not replacing teachers — they are multiplying their capacity.

3

A Nonprofit With a Personal Mission

CodeCircle.org was not born in a boardroom. It was born from one person's memory of being locked in a computer lab overnight because that was the only way he could learn to code. The organization's mission is inseparable from its founder's story.

4

Student Outcomes Are Real

From Aanya's Python calculator to William's hackathon-winning weather predictor to Maya's award-winning AI chatbot for teen mental health — CodeCircle.org produces students who build, present, compete, and win.

5

Community Partnerships Are Open

CodeCircle.org actively seeks partnerships with school districts, corporate sponsors, community organizations, and foundations. Philanthropic investment directly translates to more children reached.
