In order to use online computer programming programs like Repl.it, you often need an email address like Gmail. Gmail is the email account that was created by Google. Having an account on Google can also provide accounts for useful resources like Google Drive and Calendar. If you do not already have a gmail account, here are quick and easy steps for making and using a Gmail account!
Step 1: Go onto your web browser and type in the URL bar : https://accounts.google.com/SignUp

Now, you are ready to fill out the information! Fill out your full name and make sure to ask for your parents permission before filling out this information.
Step 3: Choose a username that you will remember and is not taken by any other users. The website will let you know if the username you decided on has been used or not. This will be your email address. Example: username@gmail.com
Step 4: Next, create a strong password. What does that mean? Well, a strong password is one that you will remember and will not easy for someone to guess. REMEMBER- passwords are case sensitive. This means that if your chosen password is in lowercase and you attempt to log in in all caps, then it will say the password is incorrect.
Step 5: Enter your birthday and gender. They are not given out to anyone or shared publicly without your permission. They are usually used to make sure that you are a real person trying to make a Google Account and not a robot.
Step 6: You may enter in your phone number if you would like. It is optional and they store your phone number for security reasons if someone attempts to hack into your account. Another optional box is the Current Email Address box . If you would like, you can enter in a parent’s email. If you have a different email address, then you may enter it there as well. Also, please enter in the country in which you are currently living in. After this is all complete, click “next step”.
Step 7: Type in the numbers or letters that you see in the picture, to prove that you are not a robot.

One of these is google docs. You can access your Docs in google drive. A Google Doc is just like a Word Document, but you can share it with other people to collaborate on work. You can access or make a new Google Doc using Drive.
